The Neighborhood Place Resource Centers (NPRC) bring together the strengths of our former Family Resource Center, Anchor Point Youth Center, and Coordination Center into one coordinated system focused on housing stability, concrete support, and connection.

We now operate two locations serving East Hawaiʻi in Hilo and Keaʻau.

Neighborhood Place of Puna’s Hale ʻIki Family Assessment Center is a temporary emergency shelter for families with minor children who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness. Our staff uses the Housing First Approach. This means that we are participant-centered and work with you to address your barriers towards permanent housing.
