Introducing the New Coordination Center Drop-In Location in Hilo

Spread the love

At Neighborhood Place of Puna, we believe that everyone deserves access to the resources and support they need to build a stable, healthy future. That’s why we are thrilled to announce the opening of our new Coordination Center drop-in location in Hilo!

This welcoming space is designed to serve as a first point-of-contact for Hawai‘i County residents who need help finding, navigating, and connecting with housing, financial, and health-related resources. Whether you’re facing a challenge or just need guidance on available services, our trained staff are here to support you every step of the way.

Why We Opened the Coordination Center

We know that navigating the system of available services can feel overwhelming. Many families and individuals struggle to figure out where to start, what they qualify for, or how to access help. Our Coordination Center exists to remove those barriers by providing a centralized place where people can get the assistance they need — quickly, easily, and with compassion.

With support from the County of Hawai‘i Homelessness and Housing Fund, we’ve created a drop-in center where anyone can come in, ask questions, and receive one-on-one guidance from our knowledgeable Community Resource Navigators. Our team is dedicated to making sure that every person who walks through our doors is seen, heard, and supported.
