Mission Possible | Year-End Giving Challenge

Help Us Continue Our Critical Work for Families and Our Community with $25 for 2025

As 2024 draws to a close, we reflect on the tremendous growth our organization has experienced over the past year. With the increasing demand for our services on Hawaiʻi Island, Neighborhood Place of Puna has been able to rise to the occasion—providing critical support to families with minor children, while also fighting to end homelessness in our community. But we couldn’t have done it without your support.

For our year-end fundraising efforts, our staff members are engaging in a friendly competition to raise vital funds that will directly support local families with minor children and help prevent homelessness in our community.

Can you donate at least $25 for 2025? Our goal is to raise $25,000 to invest in our neighbors in need.

Why Support Neighborhood Place of Puna

Over the past year, we’ve seen firsthand how the need for our services has grown. Families across Hawaiʻi County are struggling under the weight of financial hardship, housing insecurity, and the rising cost of living. Many are just one crisis away from homelessness. The reality is stark, but with your help, we have the power to make a difference.

Our efforts over the past year highlight the connection between family stability and community resilience. By addressing homelessness directly and providing robust support to families, we are working towards creating a community where child and family homelessness is unacceptable. By doing so, we believe we can end family homelessness in Hawaiʻi County.

Through your generous support, we’ve been able to:

  • Keep families together and thriving by providing parenting classes, home visits, and essential resources to families in need.

  • Prevent homelessness by offering case management, emergency shelter, and housing solutions to those on the brink of losing their homes.

  • Provide children with stability by ensuring their families have access to food, clothing, and safe shelter.

However, the need continues to grow, and we are turning to you as we prepare for the year ahead. Our work is far from over, and we need your support now more than ever.

Your donation today will allow us to:

  • Continue offering vital services to local families and children who are struggling.

  • Expand our programs to provide even more housing solutions and services to prevent homelessness.

  • Invest in long-term solutions that create lasting change for Hawaii Island’s most vulnerable.

Your end-of-year gift will make a profound impact on our ability to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Together, we can ensure that no family in Hawaiʻi County has to choose between paying rent and feeding their children, and that we can make homelessness a thing of the past.

Please donate today to support local Hawaiʻi families and keep them in Hawaiʻi, and to end homelessness in Hawaiʻi County. We know that strong families build a strong community.

We hope you’ll join us in building a stronger, healthier, and more resilient community for everyone.

Your donation is tax-deductible and directly supports families and individuals in need here on Hawaiʻi Island. Together, we can bring hope and stability to our community in 2025!

Mahalo for your continued support and generosity, and for making a difference in the lives of your Hawaiʻi Island neighbors.
