In 2020 the Bridging the Gap Point-In-Time survey counted 132 homeless children on our island. Neighborhood Place of Puna is here to help change that. We know that children need a safe, loving environment to grow, but that’s not possible when our local families are forced into homelessness.

Hale ‘Iki shelter is the only family shelter in Puna, where rates of poverty on Big Island are some of the highest. By taking the pledge you help us set our fundraising goals this season.
